Bad programs
I’ve picked up on a couple of programs that comes British television, its a little silly to see how the viewers prefer to watch some childish programs compared to shows that could really influence the viewers into good things. While kids spend time watching Sweet 16, Kourtney & Kloe and things like that, the adults like to spend time on useless programs like Your Face or Mine.
A change in the TV culture has lead to an immediate change in demand on what people want to see on tv. Regardless of whether programs like those mentioned above are scripted or really reality tv shows, it surely is something that makes kids want to give into peer pressure. Instead of putting in better shows that could educate the audience, majority of the channels available on free view have something to do useless reality shows.
The ones which are really worth while don’t work out anymore. So when your kids watch for example sweet 16, they tend to believe that having programs like that around means that its normal to be demanding and its normal to receive extremely expensive gifts for their birthdays. Balls of steel is another which at sometimes stays within the boundary comedy and most of the times cross over to the sick and silly publicity stunts. However, the viewers like, its shame that we’d lose a programs like ’Are you smarter than a fifth grader'for a show that shows the life a stars which is nothing but partying, drinking and having fun - its not the same for every household. Not even payroll software could bring their restrictions on these baseless programs
